This is the OEM deployant strap for the Omega clasp

Because croc straps have sort of segments to them its a bit hard to round them to your wrist properly so I'm trying Dennis' idea of using a winder pillow to stretch it into shape. Does look and feel really good though against the black dial of the Speedmaster Pro, and the OEM deployant claps is nothing short of brilliant. In spite of the high cost of the things compared to aftermarket options, few do the job as neatly or as elegantly as the Omega clasp.

yeap, I think the early ones are 19? But I tend to cram 20s onto 19s anyway

That is by far the most comfortable deployant clasp available. The leather strap slides between your wrist & the metal, preventing the metal from digging not your wrist. Brilliant!

Hadley Roma can make you one if you use one of their dealers. Steve's (N2FHL) store placed the order for my replacement strap for the VC since they have an account. Curved ends, light padding so it isn't too think, and even more comfortable than the original. The best part is they made it to the length I specified. I used the original as a basis, told them to make the buckle end the same length but make the end with the holes 10 mm shorter. Now I don't see the tip end of the strap on the far side of my wrist. Short lengths were too short and mediums were long enough that I saw them so I got it done in between. I liked it so much after a couple months I had them duplicate the order. Just ordered another Breitling style gator strap for the Chrono Cockpit too. H-R discontinued the dark brown I like, so I found a dealer that still had them. It isn't worn out yet but it's starting to show it's age. The more I see of H-R, the more I get away from other high end makers. Not that the others are bad, but H-R is just as good or better and a lot less expensive.
