just wanted to post a pic of my "new"-69 straight writing Speedy. New here and appreciate all the insight from members. Happy to be part of the club. Thanks to @Kringkily, great seller, and @Spacefruit, fountain of knowledge. Wonderful band shown by @jankoxxx.

 

This is my 145.022-69 purchased new in 1970 with original box and 1039 bracelet currently on an 1171/633.

 

Thanks for sharing - I feel like I could have owned this watch since new, but I was just a wee lad. It's nice to see someone who recognized that elegance and never felt it lost its luster.

Love those 1039 bracelets, am going absolutely berserk looking for a Speedie equipped with one.
