    Hey OF,

I'm sorry for the bother, but here's an issue that my watchmaker can't figure out.
Basically the chrono starts pauses but does not reset properly.

Any ideas as to why this is happening, and any tips on what to examine?

    Thanks!

I dont want to be funny here, but i would get a new watchmaker!!!!!

The way he is handling that movement does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling, to say the least

I agree- I take different watches to different people, so, that’s why this happened. ::facepalm2::

The hammer for the minute register is hidden underneath the barrel bridge; the other hammer is under the dial. You'll need to remove the bridge and the dial to see the action. Any diagnosis and fix would require a competent watchmaker though.

I would grab the watch back and run. Now.
