104 F in Los Angeles today (and over 115 F in the Valley). Crazy. But the dials look good in the sun.

I find it funny when people talk about temps in the 80s as being warm. During the summer that is usually our overnight lows here in Oklahoma.

Same when my in-laws complain it's cold in FL when it's 50 degrees, while it's 5 degrees in NH.

A couple of weeks ago we hit 115掳 and apparently that day eight of the ten hottest airports in the world were in SW Oklahoma.

Lovely spring day here in Melbourne Oz...22C or whatever the f蠀ck that is in less civilised measurements.
BTW here in Oz the seasons are determined on a calendar basis not on an astrological basis, this allows for easier statistical comparison of weather data over a period of years, as the seasons line up on the exact same dates from year to year.
Here spring officially starts on Sept 1, summer starts on Dec 1, autumn on Mar 1, and winter on June 1.
Some of the indigenous peoples traditionally have 6 seasons to their year, obviously the names of these seasons varies with the language.

It's 27C in Melbourne, FL. That's 82F. 27 degrees is just too cold.

Temperature is what you're used to.

When I lived in the islands, on the very very rare occasions that it got to the low 70s, sweaters came out
