I was walking around yesterday and I saw this speedy in the window of a small jewelry store. When I went in to ask abut it the owner didn't seen to know much about it. I know next to nothing on speedies so was wondering if anyone could ID the reference on this guy for me? Sorry only one potato photo from my phone.

First guess is a 74 or 76 as no step.

    If stepped 68-74...

Bezel look like a do90 judging from the 70. So up to mid 69. With a stepped Bezel you can't see in the photo.

Not sure what's up with the lume on the hour markers. The picture does not have enough detail.

    Crown and pushers are... interesting...

No step that has to be a 74-76 dial. But the Dot adjacent 70 makes it a do90 which was original to 69.

Caseback and serial would go a long way to determine what it is exactly. If the case and movement look good. It would be a good base for a hot rod to sell off the dial and hands and convert to a racing or ????
