I've had my Speedy w/sapphire for 4 months and found it was running very fast - 20+sec/day. Took it into the Omega Boutique in NYC - delightful and courteous service. They found it had to be demagnetized. Told me it was not uncommon (?) - use it very near a notebook computer and iPad (do not keep it on top of the refrigerator as they questioned re: (duh!) ). It then ran fine - but this situation will certainly reoccur and already has begun to - don't plan on removing it during computer use, etc. So...I will buy a demagnetizer and use it weekly. Suggestions re: a demagnetizer to purchase, the common-ness of this situation, and any other helpful information will be very much appreciated. -------- Barry
