First of all, I'm not here to make Speedy purists commit suicide ;)
    I'm just realizing that :
    - I could buy a vintage speedy, but I'm found of superluminova
-that finding a 2898... well, no need to tell
-that a brand new 1861 is too classic

So I made two compositions of my own. What do you think? no throwing stones at me :whistling:

just tell me if you find them that ugly or criminal. After all the first one is just about changing the hands. I'm about to buy this one but I find the arrow hands a bit 'clumsy'

Well, the last one is 100% original Omega except the strap! And If I may say so, Omega pimps up their own watches. The straight leg replica has 2 straight register hands instead of arrow ones on the 2915. I don't mention the sapphire crystal and ugly back.

Agree completely about the hands - they seem to clumsy for the general design.

People do it. It's a matter of choice. These won't get a lot of love here though, as @VetPsychWars knows. He's got a few modded speedies which look good, but aren't my cup of tea personally.

hey that's right. Is it worse than the scams we see on the net? or worse than the replacement parts often seen on vintage ones? I 'm not sure.
Honestly don't you find the broad arrow hand too big?
And the cool thing about being an horologist is that you can change your hands in 10 minutes.

Hey pimp whatever you like, @Barking mad done a good one a few weeks ago and it looks good. I would buy it and wear it..

But ask a collective of speedmaster guys that could pick apart a speedy whilst eating breakfast......
