Yes, but it only emits alpha particles, which a piece of Kleenex can block. No danger.

I guess you meant beta particles (electrons), indeed asorbed by a piece of paper or by the hesalite of your speedy.
The betas will then emit very low Energy X-rays (Brehmstrallung radiation) when they deccelerate
Nothing to worry about.
Risk is mostly ingestion-related only. Never touch tritium or radium lume with your hands

We've got some big-ass boxes that are inside even bigger-ass boxes...so big-ass that you can land an MD-88 (Mad Dog!) on them...and then park it inside the smallest big-ass box...too freaking nutty!
