Hi Everyone,
I haven't been tracking 90s speedy values, but came across this nice (what I think) 3570 with 1499/unmarked 842 ends and tritium dial at a local jewelry store.

They said they service all their watches locally and guarantee for a year, which I wouldn't trust at all, so I would assume to factor in the price of service when setting value.

They are asking $5750 which seems optimistic, given no box or papers and service needed ?

What do people feel would be a reasonable price for this?

thx

Would need more and better pictures to assess the case. Hour and minute hands are lighter than the dial and chrono hand so those would also need to be checked.

I don’t really follow these but I’d guess a median price would be US$3500-4000

is there a way to check for tritium vs super on the hands?

It does happen where the dial and hands age differently. For example, the dial on my ‘85 is custard and the original hands are much lighter. Under UV, the rate of decay of the glow is the same between the dial and hands.

Under regular sun, it is hard to tell the difference between the dial and hands
