Saw this piece post up for sale in my local used stuff forum, seller says make an offer and best price take it. He said it's a 2998-3? Authentic? sorry only have one pic. I will ask for more.

What's the right offer for this piece in this condition? What's resale value for it? Thanks.

 

Hour and minute hand have been replaced. Bezel is pretty shot but is a DON at least. I think the dial is correct from what I can tell. Frankly I don't have enough experience to tell for sure whether the pushers and crown are original but they might be OK... would need much better pictures than that, particularly of the movement, to tell any more. I'll defer to the experts on what it's worth (assuming the movement is correct). My sense is that hands for a 2998-3 would not be easy to come by however.
