in 11 months. I don't know which one of you lot has fallen asleep on the return button but somehow my little site has gone over 100,000 views in 11 months. I mostly threw it together for myself, so I could keep all the information I gathered from falling out of my tired old brain. Anyway thanks for looking at it, and thanks to all who have been so generous with their thoughts and knowledge - you know who you are - even the smallest snippets can keep the narrative true, so thank you. Here's to the next 100k! To celebrate here are some gratuitous Speedy Shots: A rare lollipop pulsations, thanks to a member, and a 2915 thanks to another.... And who has all the DO90's? Actually its a cheat, only the ones showing are! A perfect transitional back, with box and papers: Absurd, but attractive patina on a 145.012 Two 105.003's one with a short indices dial: Brown '69's Another, black, 69 Another 105.003 and a brown transitional. Oh, this is the peach..... So I invite you, send a photo to the party! Warmest thanks again to you all for looking. Spacefruit (When you leave space, fruit will appear)
Thanks for the excellent pictures, Spacefruit. My 2915 (the incomplete/service dial one bought through this Forum last February) is ready to collect from STS and here's one of Simon's pictures of the finished job .
well, i think i am partly involved in the 100k clicks, i think i visited your site at least 100 times Also a 105.003 with a short indices Service dial
Cannot say I'm at all surprised. It's a great site and a great initial resource for people to quickly identify what parts are likely to be correct for each reference, along with a reasonable price range. It's especially useful for people new(ish) to vintage Speedmasters who can then progress into MWO for more detail. Congratulations and also huge thank you. It helped me out a couple of times. Here are the three I have bought in the last year. A fourth has just arrived but I'm going to open it up before I post pics. 105.012-66 145.022-69 (unfortunately this one has moved on) 105.003-65
Congrats - the traffic on your site is very well deserved as it's a great resourse - I use it a lot myself......
Well done on achieving so many views in such a short space of time. I always enjoy your down to earth and sometimes dry and thought provoking comments. Here are my three for the party ´65, ´67 and a ´68
Congrats! That's amazing! Here the only 'real' speedmaster pro I've got. Not vintage obviously... and I'm working to change that!
My 145.012-67 that basically fell into my lap for an insanely good price. After spending many hours researching things on speedmaster101.com I was able to pull the trigger on the watch when the opportunity presented itself (I may have sprinted to the bank...)
Here my one ...out of all the watches i own this is by far my favourite I feel privileged to owning this watch .check out the missprint on the bezel
congrats and thank you william for your wonderfull website!! Here is my last speedy to join the party !
It is not strange your success , is a superb work and totally deserved , congratulations ..and , of course I will keep visiting your web
Thanks for your knowledge and passion, Spacefruit. Your posts and site are fantastic. If only there was a site like yours for each different watch I search for. Here's my latest addition ... A barn find 145.012... waiting for it to come back from my watchmaker where it is receiving a new crystal and pushers.
