Or just a wierd brown color variation. Interesting crown.

The watch should have a blue dial, so this one may be faded - I've seen blue dials from other companies (Oris for example) fade to a copper colour like this over time, so I suspect that it what happened here. Personally I don't mind the look of it.

Note that the movement shot is not of this watch - it shows a Speedmaster reduced movement, and your watch has an ETA 7751 based Omega Cal. 1151, not the 1143 shown. You can see the crown on that shot is different than the one on the rest. The 8 sided crown on the other photos is the correct one for this reference.

The 1151 is a solid movement, but if the seller didn't have proof of a recent service (not just their word, but proof in the form of a receipt from a known good service provider) you should consider getting it looked at sooner rather than later.

    Cheers, Al

It’s not a valjoux movement. Its modular.

If the number in the case back is 175.0032 or 33, it would seem this is a Speedmaster reduced from circa 1988. The Speedmaster reduced is a sort of “hybrid”, with a standard Eta automatic wind movement “piggybacked” onto a separate module which contains the chronograph and calendar functions. I was unaware that these modules were available with all those extra functions.

I thought it was a variation like the Omega 1160 movement. Something Uber rare .

Sharp eye! The crown on the watch showing the movement shot is not the same as the crown shown in the other shots. The movement in the picture is a reduced model. It would also seem that the shot of the underside of the case back is from the watch in the movement shot, and NOT the inside of the case back in the other shots.

No the pictures show 2 different watches. The caseback and movement shot is from a different watch. Specifically a Speedmaster reduced.

How did you "recently acquire" this watch? Did you buy it, and if so, how much did you pay?

Value will depend on condition partly, and this one can be a watch with great patina, or just look tired depending on who is doing the looking.

If you are looking to sell it, you won't be able to do that here, so to find the true value in that case, put it on eBay with no reserve, and see where it lands.

Absolutely not...the photo that is taken on a white surface, where all the others are on a wooden surface, is not of the same watch.
