Well, thank you, I read the article, but that is very generic. I found out that this timepiece was produced in 1962 and that crown and crystal are not original and would need replacement. What about the rest? Is the movement original in all its parts? What about the the so important dial condition? Would you call it tropical because of the ageing? Is it all original? Same as the hands? What would a fair value be like? So many questions...

I’d say it’s a very tropical dial, movement looks correct in both parts and range for an early 002, nice watch overall if you like the patina, I’m not so much of a fan of tropical dials but it’s personal preference

‘Tropical’ is a very subjective and wide ranging term. Whilst this would be categorised as tropical, its extreme and boarders on damage which negatively rather than positively impacts the attractiveness and value of the watch.

well, for what I saw, the watch is to sell for 30/35 CHF and that is way too much imo

some sort of a survivor. but tropical damaged dials are not attractive in my opinion. hour and minute hand are great tho. would be good to get an archive extract and not pay crazy prices for it

Is the crystal tension ring black or silver? Should be silver to my knowledge...
