That price is too good to be true. Personally I would only buy it if I knew what I was doing with watches. Being said if I was craft like the guys I look up to on here. I would make a deal stating if I found anything fraudulent after purchase I
could return it.

It won't stay at that price for long. 6 long days to go.

Agreed - eBay auctions are not a linear equation... bidding increases exponentially in the last 30 seconds 😉

Good luck though Marco!

Thank you all. They answered me back that the watch has no Omega guarantee card. So I decided to quit. Fascinating watch anyway..

If you want one of these, I would buy a Gen II complete set from one of the Japanese sellers or George for that matter. Great functional watches. Love mine.

Thanks indeed Cicindela. I'd like a X33, the only problem is my current budget.

Good evening,

I just placed a bid for this X33 on the bay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Speed...272322819?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item1c3c64cb03

It comes without box, but just wanted to try. It looks fascinating anyway. Great watch - any impression?

Marco

I was having a look at that too, but I was far more concerned with the language the seller was using... "Condition wise the watch is working but we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity as we didn't have new battery installed. We are also stating here that we don't know how to operate all of the functions so that's left for the new owner to find out so we WON'T ACCEPT RETURNS based on functional claims" etc.

Agree these are great watches if they are to your taste. I used to have a Gen 1, now have a Gen 2 that I most recently got to test out as a travel watch, it was great!
