    image.jpg image.jpg Hello

I was giving an old Omega Speedmaster from my father. I had it appraised and its case number is 145.022-69ST. The movement number is 29609323. I've attached some pictures. I can't find anything in the Internet that looks like this watch and was hoping someone on this board may know something about it. Any info is appreciated

    Hi

Your example is not the same as the one posted above (there is a 4th line of text on the dial ' Mark II ' ).

@flame, what is it then? One of the oddballs with Lemania movement as referenced in the thread? Something else?

    Hi

It appears to be a genuine pre moon '69 ' racing ' dial....produced in very low numbers by Omega prior to the release of the Mark II ' racing ' version which of course , we are all a lot more familiar with.

Something I would love to own one day (hence my unusual use of ' dibs ' in a thread).

    Lovely heirloom....:)

As Neil said a rare and valuable thing! You don't see many of these original racing dial 145.022's!

You have something quite special there and it looks in auperb original condition! A great watch and I hope you wear it and enjoy it ☺️
