I cannot find instructions on the operation of this watch. If you can point me to some, that would be great. I have the original manual, but it is very brief and does not cover the full functions. My question regards the sub-dial at 6:00. Mine turns all the time even when the chronometer is not running. I assumed this was not correct, but was not sure. It will reset with the chronometer reset button but continues to count hours. Is this defective or is that sub-dial for some other purpose and should always move? Thanks, Ken....an Omega newbie
I have a modern version of this watch. The sub-dial at six is the hour counter for the chronograph and should start, stop and reset with the pushers. It seems that there is an issue with the movement of your watch.
Looks like the brake for the hour counter is not working. Should be taken care of at the next service. Other than running all the time, this is not harming the watch at all. Cheers, Al
