So I just bought a used Speedmaster Pro from my local jeweler, and I have a question about the 12 hour totalizer at 6 o'clock... After running the chronograph for about 27 minutes, the 12h hand stepped forward to what I guess I'll call 0.5. Is this right? Seems like it shouldn't step forward like that until the 30 minute mark. Can someone confirm that this is accurate or not? Thanks!

it evened out at 60 minutes - the 12h totalizer went to 1. I think this must be normal, then?

I don't have a Speedmaster Pro but it sounds fine to me.

Yes it's not uncommon for the hour recorder to be out slightly when compared to the elapsed minutes on the minute recorder. This is due to the fact that the seconds/minute recorder hands are driven from a different area of the movement. The hour counter is driven directly from the mainspring barrel, and is not directly connected to the central chronograph recorder, or the minute recorder.

    Cheers, Al

Thanks, Al. I appreciate the explanation - the included documentation is a bit thini.
