So, this is a Speedmaster dial of a watch cal 321 ref 145.012-67 sp serial number 22xxxxxx that I'm working on, everything on the dial seemed to be correct, metal logo, stepped dial, Professional text etc, all except for the length of the hour indices:

A closer look of the dial: 2.jpeg

Could this be indeed a service dial, or did these dials also came in the short hour indices variations?

Short indices, AML, step. B4 dial.

MWO calls it the B4 rarely seen but not listed as a service dial as it makes that distinction on other dials. It does not tie it directly to any reference though.

Speedmaster101 has a 145.012-67 also with that dial on the service dial page. Oddly the same reference as the OP.

Perhaps a hidden transitional variant?? Most likely not but... who knows.
