Just for fun...I'm coming up on the six year anniversary of my first Speedy purchase (the Ed White top left) and when visiting the bank, decided to get all of my vintage Speedies together (excluding a couple 145.022's that are at the watchmaker). ~15 other Speedies have come and gone over those years, but these are the ones that have stayed...not that there aren't a few that I wish I'd held onto. From top left to bottom right: 105.003-65 (my first Speedy) 145.022-68 105.003-64 (blue bezel, which you can't see in this picture but turns vibrant blue in sunlight) 2998-62 (bought from @marturx many moons ago!) 2998-3 (plus a nice Speedmaster worth of flat link bracelets with #6's )
Six years goes by quickly. Very nice. And you went big on your first Speedy. Best way to do it. Those that don't collect have no idea you own more than one watch.
Even if I can't see that blue bezel, a major DIBS for that one if you ever think of letting it go. A very eclectic choice of models for a Speedmaster collection - well done
Amazing collection and I understand why they’re kept in a bank vault, but I hope they get occasional wrist time.
