Hello gents, I am offered this Omega speedmaster 145.0022 / 345.0022. Here are pictures. Do you think it is authentic ? It had no box and papers, or the bracelet… and what is a fair price for it ??

Please tell us your thoughts on the watch and you might get a response. Where are you based, what year is it and what is the asking price. Good luck.

So I found this watch from the friend of a trusted dealer in Turkey. I negotiated for a long time and got it set at 3,400 USD. It doesn’t have the bracelet, box, or papers.. I got the machine readings, all seems perfect… infact, too perfect to be true.. so I came here to ask the experts

Hard pass for me, even with those terrible pics.

The lume looks awful, case seems in bad shape, movement looks dirty…

Plus - I’m by no means a specialist of those - but that case back seems way to recent compared to the other characteristics of the watch.

It’s a very common reference, you can do way better with a bit of patience and luck 😀

That depends : are you buying a watch or a price ?

Condition, condition, condition 😀
😅 to be fair, I want the watch, but still have some resale profit margins

If a dealer is struggling to sell it for $3400, what makes you think you’ll be able to resell for a profit given how little you know about watches?

I don’t want to speak for the OF crowd and don’t want to be rude neither, but it isn’t an attractive watch - at all.

Stick around, read the forum and learn how and why this thread isn’t going into the right direction 😀

Just ignore all of his posts. He's either a troll, a window shopper, or both. Starts or bumps a thread every day multiple times every day and then asks about a different watch on here and Reddit. Asks if an Omega is real, a Breitling is real, a Panerai is real, a Tag is real, asks if this "rep" Rolex or AP is "1:1".... he's not serious at all.

Ah come on.. I just buy many watches… almost 1 a day, so I come here to ask about the ones I have 0 experience in partner…

IF your goal is to resell, I don't think I'm interested in helping you anymore. The reason I answer questions here is to help people who really want to be collectors and have a passion for it with the intent of getting things that bring them joy. I'm not here to be your unpaid expert. IF you don't have the skills to do the research yourself, you're in the wrong business.

So are you in the business of reselling watches?

Good catch. Just looked at all his posts.

He's clearly just a reseller. He's unwilling to do the research/work to be a reseller, and is trying to get us to do the work for him. He bumps frequently/spams/etc because he is trying to do whatever he can to get the information ASAP so he doesn't get beaten to a score. He doesn't care about burning bridges here, because he'll just move onto the next forum when we get pissed (or create a new account).
