Got a Speedmaster Racing ref 326.32.40.50.03.001 a few weeks ago. It's my first Omega so I'm not sure of what's normal or not. Can others hear and feel the rotor spinning when you shake the watch or arm when wearing?

The watch works great and keeps excellent time so it's not a big deal, but I'm used to the silent movement of my Submariner.

Planning on 2021 to retire. I'll wear it on special occasions till then, and a daily watch after that. Is it better to keep it on a winder, or put it back in the box?

The new Omegas have ceramic ball bearings in the winding system. Durable and low friction, but a bit noisier.

Less wear if you put it back in the box

Makes sense and makes me feel better. It was just odd as I can shake my wrist and feel the rotor swinging around a couple rotations after my arm stops moving.

I love the watch, just wanted to make sure that was normal.

The rotor in the Valjoux 7750 spins like a top when turning in the non winding direction. That movement is in tons of Breitlings including the Navitimer

Which racing? There are at least 3 generations with different movements.

    This one...

Not in the 3330...same steel ball bearings as the rest of the 7750 based movements.
