You might remember this thread https://omegaforums.net/threads/pretty-obvious-why-i-bought-this-speedy.27122/ were i told you about the Speedy i found, that had a DON bezel, but a dial without lume and badly painted wrong hands. By chance i got a hit on a nice vintage Racing dial from Australia and i thought lets build a Racing dail Speedy. I searched my drawers for some fitting hands ( reminds me to tell you always separate the small running second, minute hand and hour counter as their posts have a different diameter and it took me quite some time to find the correct ones ) found a vintage 1171 and managed to put everything back together in corrrect working order. I am quite pleased with the result i have to admit .
