Does anybody know the number of these produced and the serial range?.

I have owned a 778x, and currently own two in 777x range, and have seen many earlier then that.

According to Moonwatch Only, earliest production number seen was at 77.060.xxx and started production in 2003. Most I can provide. Not sure of the exact range, but if you have 778, that’s pretty far after the 770 that is mentioned in the book

 

Just wondered what your 777 /778 year of your watches might be please ? And also any other things I should be aware of. I've never owned a moonphase before but always loved the look of them.

 

I think I remember that range 778x being estimated as a 2006

 

1866 can be more troublesome then a 1861 due simply to the fact that there is more that can go wrong.
