My 6 month old Speedy resets/indexes every so slightly to the right of precise 12 O'clock -

is this normal or does it warrant adjustment?

    Thanks! IMG_0113.jpg

Is it normal? Fairly I would say based on what I see.

    Is it right? No.

Does it warrant adjustment? Depends how much it bothers you.

Do you feel it's worth risking some other damage while they try to fix this? Only you can decide.

IMO, I wouldn't bother tweaking it... I know it bothers you, it bothers me too when I see it, but unless you are looking at your watch at a perfect 90 degree angle, then its going to be off to the right or left of the 12oclock dial plot anyway. If the chrono hand is off the edge of the dial plot, or worse, then I would take the risk and cost of fixing it.

I would get it fixed. It is 6 months old. It would annoy me no end.

I honesly now can not tell how much of my so called "misalignment" is really parallax. Using a lupe on my dominant eye, orthogonal to center of the watch, it looks precisely aligned. Hmmmm.

I see some specs on your dial, you might want to get those removed as well. Make sure they pull a vaccum on the case so it doesnt happen again.
You can also, for an extra charge, get them to fill it with helium that way it feels lighter on the wrist. :)

Close one eye look down from above the watch. I bet it's normal. Eye dominance and parallax can make it look this way.

I noticed this sometimes too on my Ck2998.
The i turn chrono on and off the reset again and it gets straight in line.
Not sure how and why it happens.

Edit : must say it doesn't bother me that much
