Are auctions new at chrono24? I've never really checked. I know some auction houses use it as a channel, but this seems different.
Yes, in the past they had several coops with auctions houses (perhaps they still do), but not they do themed auctions themselves.
Agree, the only interesting one IMO but I'm not a buyer. Pathetic effort on the part of the seller in terms of photos and description with nothing shown of the bracelet, case back, warranty card, box.
They talk to some of the more reputable sellers on the platform and ask them if they have Speedys they want auctioned out. I let them auction a pedestrian 3560.50 I have this time around.
I'm conflicted... Hoping an OF member gets a good deal, and want the value of mine to go up. Hmm. Good luck!
As a novice, the prices on Chrono24 always seem loaded up on the high side to me when compared to the sales forum on OF or ebay. Does this even out a bit with the auction, or is it just a way of shifting the items that haven't moved?
I was about to ask the same question. From days with no one else bidding, i suddenly got notified that i got outbid. I literally slept on it. I was out drunk last night. So wasnt able to monitor.
The drink you might come to regret. Did you put an automatic max bid on? If so, mind if I ask what it was?
Unfortunately i didnt. My first time to bid. I didnt know i could do that. I dont even remember my bid. I just clicked the green button and noted it was below the estimate.
