Greetings from Bali for my first post with what may turn out to be stupid questions. My home was recently broken into & the things that were stolen that really got to me was my Speedmaster Professional & Railmaster....the Speedy was my childhood dream come true. Now i am in a position to replace the speedy & here is where i get confused...the model i had was Hesalite face with a clear back, now i am told this model is not available & has been replaced by the boxed presentation set with NATO strap, solid back. If i want to purchase the clear back model, that is the sapphire crystal model . Are these points correct as told from an official Omega store in Singapore? Thanks in advance for any help. Matthew.
The reference you had would have been the 3572.50 or an earlier version of it, the sapphire sandwich version in that era was 3573.50, the new version with the big box and NATO strap etc is reference 311.30.42.30.01.006 https://www.omegawatches.com/watches/speedmaster/moonwatch/professional-42-mm/31130423001006/ Which also has sapphire front and back.
