Were each of the individual watches included in the complete cased collection released individually? I see a number of the mission/patch watches for sale like the Apollo 13, 12, 11 and a few Gemini ones too. When they show up for sale they seem to be the same ones. Were the ones I see often released individually? Were the ones I don't see like Apollo 14, 15, 16, and 17 only done for the complete collection?

Any insight on how these pieces were released would be appreciated.

There is a difference between the "Missions Patch Collection" that Omega released as a set and the Omega individual anniversary models released for special occasions, such as 35 years anniversary or other special occasions. They are not all part of one complete set. For example the Apollo 11 35th anniversary (and many other) is not part of any complete set.

Most of the patch watches, maybe all of them, were also released in small numbers individually. Off the top of my head it's something like 250 or 500 of each one, apart from the Apollo 13 which is 999.

Apart from Apollo 13 they aren't massively sought after & you can pick them up for reasonable prices when they appear. A few show up on ebay every year.

In Japan I saw 3 of these pre-owned Speedy Pro patch watches in one store with the price only 20% above regular 3570.50.

I've seen them at the same price as an entry level Moonwatch, so they can be quite an attractive alternative for someone looking for something slightly different.

Also, I just checked and there are 40 cases of Mission Patch watches. There are 22 Missions covered in the set & each of the watches in each case is numbered xx/40 on the case back.

Separately there was a release of 150 patch watches for each of the 22 missions, which are not numbered and have the standard modern case back. Each of these comes in a special white "Missions" box. I'm not sure if they have extras like woven patches etc that came with the Apollo 13 set, but maybe someone can chime in on that.

Thanks for the additional information. I'll keep my eye out for some of the missions I'm interested in and see if one or two eventually pop up.
