Hi,

Did Omega make the Mark 2 'Re-Issue' with a red Tachymetre bezel? I have only ever seen grey/green luminous bezel.

Thanks,
Greg.

I have done a bit of searching on the forum, and it looks like it may be a mistake from the factory. The green lume disk was either not added or has been removed.

Exactly. I've seen it a couple of times. Maybe is the same defective (or bad serviced) unit in different hands.

I don't have pic's just seen them online. I don't know how many of the model were made in total, but seems a little odd that would be missed. Anyway, they look ok, just can't see the bezel at night.

Once you sort through the debates about how much of the co-axial stuff is marketing, I think most people would say yes, that the movements are quite reliable. What many see as a downside (and you may not) is that servicing options are fairly limited outside of sending your watch directly to Omega.

yes co axial movements are very reliable and supposedly they require less service maintenance than other movements.

This one has the Omega 3330 movement. It's based on the VERY well tested Valjoux 7750 (7753) movement. It should be quite reliable and accurate
