Hi all, this is my first post so be gentle with me!

I'd like to update my current model speedy to look like the 2004 Japan only racing model.

Can anyone tell me the genuine part numbers for the dial and all of the hands.

    Thanks in advance.

I thought all the Speedmasters for the Japan market were the "reduced" case size. This one is the full professional 42mm. Ya learn something every day.

There are a few Professionals - the Racing, the Galaxy Express, the Mitsukoshi...

There are Reduced with racing-style dials, but this one was a Japan-market-only limited edition Professional paying homage to the racing dials from the '60s

Wow, the hour and minute counter are separate parts? I always thought the three subdial hands were interchangeable on Speedmasters (obviously not here, with the white seconds and orange hour / minute counters). Is there a difference in the part itself?

    Hi Al,
I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering if the Case from the newer reference Omega Speedmaster: 311.30.42.30.01.005 will also accommodate the Japanese Racing Dial & Handset?

I'm assuming it will, but wanted to double check with an expert.

    Thanks in advance,
    Rob

Yes I think will fit just fine as the 005 speedy shares the same 1861 movement

Thank you for your response. My watch is with a watchmaker currently, should have this mod completed in a couple of weeks.

Did this mod ever get completed? Would love to see some pics as it's something I'd like to have done myself.

@Buchmann69 just sent you a message.

I could not order these in the end, they cancelled my order. Any help on how to order the parts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
