Wow, a brilliant link, thanks. As an owner of a Speedy for less than a week that was fascinating to read. I just need my hesalite sorted and I'll be over the moon!
I read that article last week, just a few days after obtaining my 1863 Speedy. A great education for a novice and I at least have some grasp of what all those little gears and levers are doing when I flip it over to have a look!
All future applicants to the forum will be required to take and pass a 100-question exam from the material outlined in part two. New members must score a minimum of 90% before they are allowed to create new threads.
