Hey guys, just wanted to share the newly acquired Speedmaster 311.30.42.30.01.005 (New 3570.50) on a Hirsch Performace Strap - James in all black in case anyone was interested in these straps. There aren't too many photos of these things out there yet, hopefully this'll help someone out. :)

Thanks guys. @shoota70 , I think they are very comfortable and durable straps. It is rather stiff, but I'm sure it just needs to be broken in. Living in Texas, I was trying to find a strap that sweat wouldn't soak into, at the same time without the cheap look of rubber. Best of both worlds in these straps! I tried to do as much research on them as I could before my purchase, but they are still rather new and information/pictures can be hard to find. I have yet to find a negative comment about them. Just find the style and suits you and I think you'll love it.

    Looks nice.
I've been offered one of these, last week when I visited an AD for a bracelet.
    I like this one:

@puddlep1rate if you don't mind me asking, what size wrist do you have? I've been thinking about getting one of these in black/blue for my seamaster ceramic and I was worried it would be too small for my 7.5" wrist.

I'm curious too, but for the opposite reason.. Looks like we have about the same wrist size and wonder if you had to get a short version of the strap.

unfortunately they're only offered in 120/80mm which means I'm stuck using only the first notch. I bought a Hirsch Jumper for my Speedy in 120/100mm and it's the perfect length for me. I've even emailed Hirsch a couple of times asking if I could custom order a longer one but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

I really like their performance straps but I won't pull the trigger on them if I can't get them in a longer size

My wrist size is on the smaller end at approx. 6.5" and it wears just fine. It should wear even better on you at 7.5". As far as I know this is the standard size and not reduced/longer.

Thanks for showing this. I was trying to decide between the James or the alligator grained Paul, and I like your James better. BTW, the stiffness is probably due to the caoutchouc. The leather may soften some, but it's only a thin top layer. I've had a caoutchouc strap like that on a diver for almost a year, and it feels just like it did when new. The good thing is that it also looks like it did when new.
