Hi , need a little help here if possible, I have owned this speedmaster 176.0012 (I think) for many years and recently looking on the internet noticed that it came with an integrated bracelet (surprise , surprise ). After pushing out the head I noticed a lot of dirt so decided a good clean was needed. After the clean the head is now very very loose and the watch in its present state would be difficult to use without loss. I have an omega Cosmic 2000 that also has an integrated bracelet but there is a very noticeable lock when the head is pushed in. Just wondering if gaskets are freely available to purchase to solve this problem , or does anybody know another cure for this problem. i really do not want to use paste or glue products if possible. Thanks in advance. SPEEDMASTER 176 (1).JPG SPEEDMASTER 176 (2).JPG SPEEDMASTER 176 (3).JPG SPEEDMASTER 176 (4).JPG SPEEDMASTER 176 (5).JPG

I'm pretty sure that you're missing the O Ring / gasket which would go on the case in that groove just above the pushers.
When pushed into the case head, the ring or gasket would sit in the groove just below the top surface.

My guess only and your watchmaker would be the best person to rectify this issue.

Agreed. I was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction to get one. If anyone had an Omega part number that would be great.

The easiest way is to rely on somebody who has access to the Omega extranet, possibly @Archer if he has time.

I don't know if it is a specific gasket or a plain O Ring, he may be able to clarify.

PS: Sorry, I missed the bit where you were aware of the gasket in your first post

I see some different seals listed - I'll let you measure and figure out which one it is...

    088NS0039 - FLAT SEAL D33.2 D34.8 TH0.6

    088NS5087 - SEAL O-RING D33 D34.6 Ø0.8

    088NS5091 - SEAL O-RING D35 D36.6 Ø0.8

Likely the last one as it's the largest...

Thanks you. Very much appreciated. It looks like the last one as the case internally measures 36.22. Any ideas where these could be purchased.
