    Hi,
I have a speedmaster pro case and also a Tissot chrono which has a lemania 1873 movement.
I am planning on building a speedy out of them as a knockabout watch, using the 1873 movement in the Speedy case.
Will this fit straight in? I also need to source a dial and hands - will Speedmaster hands fit straight onto the Lemania movement?
    Thanks

I had used a Lemania 873 (from Tissot) in an Omega 861 case and it fitted ok, I dont remember if I had to do anything with the pusher pin lengths but Omega dial and hands fitted without issue IIRC.

That movement is now in a franken mod; Bucherer case, Sinn dial, Omega crystal, Omega hands - all of them designed for the Lemania movement :D ::facepalm1::

    Great - thanks for that.
Just been reading up on the Lemania and hadn't realised just how many brands of watches it was used in.
I suspect there are lots of lovely looking old watches being lost forever, to service old speedies.
