Speedmaster dials without feet

I have run across two tritium Speedmaster dials on Ebay without feet. I suspect that Omega cuts off the dial feet when they swap out a dial during a service. Can anyone confirm this?

I don´t think so. The reason why Omega (contrary to other brands like RX or PP) sends back the swapped parts is because they are your property and I can´t imagine that they destroy the dial by cutting off the feet. It is not logic because they won´t respect your property this way because they would devalue it by doing so.

If you look at the condition of the dials, they both appear to be very good. So most likely the dials were replaced because the feet had snapped off...

I thought so, but I couldn't think of a reason why the dial feet would be gone. How do they snap off @Archer? Does it just happen from a large drop or some other shock?

It can happen from that, but also if something happens at service, so if it comes in with bent dial feet from a shock, and when they bend them back they snap off...
