I may just be paranoid, but is the dial discoloration towards the top something I should worry about?

Take a few pics of it in different lighting. I see what you're talking about but hard to judge from one photo. Maybe also give a bit more backstory about the watch...

You won’t be able to see it in the other pics. Just bought it used from crown and caliber and I need to make sure everything is alright before I take that sticker off

Edited my earlier post to reflect your new picture. Again, be in touch with them about it. I wouldn't want that on my Speedy...

I’d definitely return it if you paid market price.

I see it, and it would drive me bonkers. I would definitely try and return it, not to mention you could probably get a much better example here on the forums and undoubtedly at a better price.

I don’t know if I could get one for 1200;) (that’s thanks to a good deal I found on a PO that I traded). Although I’m cheating a bit with those numbers. I’m not sure I could get a speedmaster for 2500, which is in theory what I paid for it. I think they said they will try to find me another

It is defective, and if from a dealer it should have been pointed out to you before sale.

If they did not, I would return it for a full refund and never talk to them again as they cannot be trusted to look after a customer.

Unforgivable, unless there is something missing to the story

Maybe, maybe not. However I would rather spend a couple extra hundred dollars from a forum member for a clean example and not have to deal with the predicament you are now in.

Maybe the mods would be willing to let you make a WTB thread despite not meeting the 200 post count - I don't know if exceptions have been granted in the past, but I remember another forum member mentioning something along these lines.

Pass - you have the option to return with the sticker on.

The dial's been touched up. You can see the blotching and uneven coating all over the sub-dials.

    You can find better.

Definitely returning this one. I’ll see what crown and caliber do to make it right, if anything. For now, I’ll sleep on it
