Hi I've been looking to acquire a new Speedmaster with day-date, something like the Speedmaster 3520.50.00 http://www.omegawatches.com/watches/speedmaster/date-day-date/day-date-chronograph/35205000/
But it seems they don't sell anymore. What's the new model? Why did Omega stop producing these?

I've been looking for the same thing. Maybe some other experts can comment, but from what I can tell, the 3520.50 hasn't been made for a while. Similar models are the 3220.50, which is about 1mm larger, and has a very similar look except for the unpainted hands. I believe these were made more recently and I've seen a few of these on ebay and amazon. I'm not sure why they stopped making them, I kind of like the complications.

The search is kind of fun, although it makes me slightly nervous picking something up on ebay...

 

Basically the date took over for the reduced, and the racing took over from there. The 38mm watches are now considered the womens watches, although the sizes are starting to trend back down.
