I have always loved the Speedmaster Day Date 3520.53.00. Has anyone got one and what do they think of it? I am thinking or purchasing one myself.

I had a friend who had one and he liked it a lot. I think there is one for sale on the forum by @ChicagoFrog ?

I had one, nice one, with tritium... regret that sale!

 

Tritium dial versions can be quite stunning - serviced a few that were quite nice. Movement is of course extremely reliable and can be very accurate. IMO if you like it there's no reason to hold back.

How can I tell if it's a Tritium dial version? Thanks for all the replys so far from people!

 

Often the luminous material will turn a nice yellow colour on Tritium, where it won't on luminova dials.

 

Does anyone have any idea on values of these? What would you expect to pay for a mint, with box and warranty card for one of these?

 

Mine was from the first ones... 1996 I think it was...

 

Mine was without B&P and at least in Spain it still possible to find the tritium ones for 1600-1900€
