I was browsing an auction site and came across this Speedy Date. I have no idea what reference or caliber because there aren't any photos other than what's attached. I tried to check the QVD but, unsurprisingly, it's not loading properly so I can search with filters. Any thoughts about what this may be? The serial number is distorted so that doesn't help either. Are those gold hallmarks? Is this just a heaping helping of crap?
It seems legit to me although I never came across this particular color scheme, and in good condition with a clean patina, but let's see what the experts say about it. Unfortunately I can't help you with the reference. I had a similar one in steel with silver subdials, it is a nice watch and pretty thin considering it is a valjoux inside.
It’s a 7750 based caliber if not a straight 7750. I count 5 different 32xx reference numbers for this case and caliber. AFAIK all dates with that orientation had the same caliber.
I can't see any hallmarks on the lugs either. The serial No has been blurred. There seems to be three colours of gold between the crown, case and pushers (unless it's just lighting/reflections). I would demand clear pics of everything before jumping in.
One thing I have noticed about the 175.0033 is that it, too, appears to have different colors of gold, on the pushers, especially.
I think I have seen one of these dial before, although not in the same colour scheme. The reversed panda dial version was reference 3511.50, most of them came from Japan, so I am guessing they were sold exclusively in the Japan market.
Looks like a (double) ref. BA 175.0043 / 375.0043 cal. 1155 (ETA 7750) from the early 1990s. Nice watch IMO.
As to the hallmarks on the case back: The bottom one looks to me as the CCM (Common Control Mark) depicting a scales. The top one could be a "small Helvetia" for 18k. But as @JimInOz said, better to ask for clear pictures.
