Speedmaster crown part number confusion…

I found these two crowns in packages from the Swatch group dated 20 years ago.

The crown on the left by all accounts is the correct replacement Speedmaster crown for the cal. 321 Speedmasters (105.003, 105.012, 145.012 etc.). But, on the packaging, it says that the crown on the right is for ref. 105.012, but I cannot get confirmation about this anywhere. Anyone know what it’s supposed to be for? Thanks.

Part numbers starting with 086, like the one on the right, are not for crowns. That material group is "Pusher, corrector, and valve." So that material group includes pushers for chronographs, correctors for moon phase and dates, and HEV's. Crowns are material group 069.

I don't know what packaging you are referring to, but Omega packaging doesn't list the cases that parts are for on them, just the part number of that individual part.

Thanks, mystery solved. Must be a 105.012 pusher.
