    Hi all.

I've just bought what I thought was a crown for a calibre 321 Speedmaster (type A1).

Head on, it looks correct to me, flat feet, the right amount of teeth etc. But it's not tall enough.

Here's some pics of it next to a correct one on my 105.003.

Does anyone know what watch this is from? Is it genuine?

    Many thanks,

Seamasters or railmasters. They can be modified to fit.

I don't know if height alone is enough to tell. Any chance to see the underside without the stem mounted?

The first one you posted is most likely an original one for a Seamaster 300. The original Speedy ones are deeper and if they are for a straight lug case they should also have a collar on the back. The second one shown could be correct for twisted lug Speedy though.

Thank you but there's only one crown in question. All photos show the same one (except the one attached to my watch obviously).
