Can anyone help I'm looking for the original box for my Speedmaster moon watch 1969 , I've been told it might be the widly elusive box call the crater box .

 

I have one. I paid $750 for it. Have since sold the watch. If you want it I will part for the same price I paid.

 

I think there's one on ebay atm.. $34K, comes with a BA 145.022

 

BA 145.022 is different as it is in relief and different colour scheme..

They are hard to get, I know people have bought beaten watches just to get the box

 

Very very hard to get. That's why someone just paid $750...for an empty box.

 

thats why i passed on this box $750 ???? the last one that came up for sale went for around $350 mark ....im in no hurry to buy an empty box for that price.

 

I sold one at auction (ebay) fetched almost £500 GBP so $750 Dollars is about right.

I’m not disputing that the box went for $750 ,my point was I wasn’t prepared to spend that type of money on a cardboard box . I purchased this only last year for $350 I feel this was better values for my money ,
