    1468652665851.jpg I Bought yesterday a speedmaster coaxial
311.30.44.51.01.002 with bracelet. However on the buckle if the bracelet it says omega speedmaster professional and as far as I know the coaxial speedmasters aren't considered professional series. Has anyone faced such issue?

This is the first time I see this with a clasp marked professional. Have you bought it new from Omega or an Omega AD?

Yes brand New through a retailer that oredered it from Omega Greece, waited for two weeks for the watch to be sent from switzerland. First info i have is that it is a factory mistake! Will wait for official written reply from OMEGA. Should i do any other actions?

I'm sure they will answer your questions and if it's a factory mistake they will surely make it right.

My guess would be that the wrong clasp cover was installed on the bracelet...

Post more pics of the watch and the movement.

My clasp does not say professional.

That's the issue that mine shouldn't say professional either , just hope omega will recognise the mistake and will at least react properly

When i contacted OMEGA Greece the watch was unavailable and had to be ordered from switzerland, so i waited for 2 weeks. Not that it was in a shop and someone could switch the clasp. However i never expected OMEGA to do such mistakes...

Did you buy it new or used? my guess could be the retailer could've only had the strap option, wasted some time so it seemed legit and put the speedy pro bracelet on it.

New...no that couldn't have happened cause my warranty card has the serial number for bracelet version,... The possible scenarios as I think are
    1)factory mistake
    2) or they had an bracelet version in omega athens dealership but the bracelet or the clasp was damaged so they substituted it with a wrong one

Either way I demanded for an official omega factory explanation...and I think that will clarify the situation
My greatest question is if a factory mistake from omega happened to anyone else at the forum

It is infrequent but there have been other factory mistakes we've seen from Omega on this forum. Having said that, I do not recall any mistakes not being corrected once brought to their attention. I have also seen and/or read of issues with Rolex, JLC, PP, AP et al. Unfortunate and frustrating but they happen.

I would imagine this to be as simple as Omega shipping the right clasp to your AD. You can swing by once it has arrived and should take all of a couple minutes to change out for the proper one.

Thank you guys for your responses, you are very helpfull! Cause to tell you the truth this whole situation is disapointing and takes away the excitement of a new watch!...

Well, it might be worth double now that it was sent from OMEGA like that. List it on eBay as error Speedy and double what you bought it for.

Do you think you could be overreacting here? The only thing "wrong" with your watch is an extra word on the bracelet clasp and Omega has offered to send the correct clasp. If I were in your shoes I'd focus on enjoying that beautiful watch.

Personally, I don't think OP is overreacting. It isn't unreasonable to expect that a brand new watch will come from the factory with the correct hardware.
