New guy here. Please forgive any dumb questions. I am seriously considering ordering a brand new Speedmaster Moonwatch. The normal 42mm hesalite model. My wrist size varies a lot with the seasons. Am I correct in that you can only make one small adjustment with the clasp and then you have to start adding or subtracting links? Or does the very newest clasp give you a range of settings? Does Omega sell any of the old bracelets where you can just find a toothpick and adjust all you want? Please give details and talk slow cause I'm a noob. Thanks.

One adjustment of about 1/2 link, after that you add/subtract links.

Yes, but also note that the links in the bracelet are quite short, so it is pretty easy to get a good fit to start. I rarely have to use the micro adjust feature, even in warmer months.

Agree with this. I keep mine just a little loose.

As you already know, the first 3861 bracelet had no micro adjustment at all. My new 3861 was the reference that came with the sailcloth strap. At the time, I preferred NATOs, leather, rubber, etc. over metal bracelets.

Last year, I decided to get one anyway through the local Omega AD.

What can I say? I had the AD size it so it works for both "winter" and "summer" fit, using the two micro-adjustment positions. It's easily the most comfortable bracelet I own (apart from Rolex), and it looks absolutely fantastic.
