Hi can someone confirm if the bezel insert in the Speedmasters is hold to the ring by pressure or if it is hold in place with glue?

    Thanks

Don't believe glue but others who know for sure will follow. I think it snaps in.

Did we ever figure out where these inserts came from? Since Omega never sold them?

No, the bezel inserts do not use glue to attach to the bezel

Thanks! So the insert is hold by pressure (snaps in place)? I want to remove the insert of mine to clean the bezel steel ring but want to make sure how to remove it / re-install it before I do

I had one of my 80's inserts come apart. My watchmaker glued it to the bezel ring with epoxy, he said he's see this happen plenty of times...no biggy.
