I think a lot of the members here have follow the Christie's auction last December and maybe remember this Omega Speedmaster 50. The realized price was $25k. I have such a dial and would like to know what you would do with it. Keep it in the drawer, build up a watch with or sell it, if sell how much is it worth ? I dont know what I should do with.....

Is that a 176.0012 dial variant (service) or a prototype dial. The watch case at Christies was the prototype not the dial I thought.

I admit the minute markers font esp on the 25 and 35 seems unique to the Christies auction and yours.

I think the case is nothing special as some Tissot Seastar Cal. 1340 modells are using this case also.
Maybe I'm blind but I dont see the difference you mentioned😕

This is a Mark 4.5 dial, and it is different from the Christie's dial, most noticeably the 55 cut off and the tritium "T"'s on both sides of the "SWISS MADE".

The prototype dial also lacks the 3, 9, 15, and 21 from the 12:00 subdial.
