    Hello

I am looking at buying a Speedmaster 3523 'Day Date' that has just been serviced. The attached photo is of the service test results.

Whilst some of the numbers look to be ok, I am not familiar with all the data. - Does this look to be in spec and evident of a properly serviced chronograph?

    Thanks in advance.

    Was the watch fully wound?

    Chronograph was off?

I ask because the balance amplitudes are lower than what I would expect in a freshly serviced watch...

    Hi Archer.

Thanks for your input. I shall ask about that. Although within 30' of each other, the numbers are a bit low.

I wasn't sure how to read the right hand side of the print out - 'D, X, Xv' etc.?

D - Delta - difference between fastest and slowest reading
    X - average rate
Xv - average of vertical readings
Xh - average of horizontal readings
Dvh - Delta between horizontal and vertical readings
Dv - Delta of vertical readings only

Really appreciate this information Archer, Thanks.

I have asked more questions of the seller but he has gone quiet on me . .
