I was just wondering if I am loosing my mind or is this auction house selling a fake Omega https://www.henrys.de/index.php?pc=...katalog=0&srch_thru_from=40&srch_thru_to=89.5
Guess we can also add this one to the list https://www.henrys.de/index.php?pc=...katalog=0&srch_thru_from=40&srch_thru_to=89.5
Why do you think that is a fake? It was already being discussed in another thread with the auction estimate being exceedingly low.
The inscription on the case back looks like it was done by a drunken sailor............ The writing on the dial doesn't look right either to me.
I think the BA 145.022 is a redial, the text is off. Also has the wrong chrono seconds hand I think. Agree the caseback is pretty messed up looking too... EDIT: Not a redial.
This is a really good BA 145.022 thats going to go for real good coin.Nothing wrong with the dial or hands. The dial is an early version as reflected in it's serial number with the oval 'O' as stated in MWO .
Yeah, I was wrong about that one. Don't know as much about these without MWO handy as I thought. What about the caseback though, still looks slightly wonky even in the hi-res photos?
Perhaps poor camera quality used photographing the on auction watch The Auction watch. Poor photo. SgWatchBaron's watch. Detailed photo.
Don't underestimate the ability of a crappy camera and lens to distort, especially a poor quality wide angle lens.
