    Hi there,
I'm just wondering about different dials I see on the internet.
I guess the one on the first three pics is a real "old" one. (with the step and "T Swiss made T" mark)
And then we see a replacement dial.
    Is it as easy?
Or was there a time where the "old" dials where sold as replacement as well?
And are there are first mount dials whichs differ?
    Thanks a lot for enlightenment.
    Yann

I am unclear what you are asking.

The dials, "on the internet" (assume you mean ebay?" are mostly service dials lacking the T markings and the step.

Older dials from the period have T marks, and if pre c1974 a step.

As you go further back the feet change for the 321, although the location remains the same as do the dimensions of the dial itself.

The value of a new service dial is $100-200

The value of a 1969 dial is about the same, but can go much higher for genuinely fine examples.

As soon as we see an applied logo, the value rises.

    Thanks for the reply.
Yes, perhaps I wasn't very straight forward.
    But you answered it nevertheless.

I understand: dials before 74 have a step and the T mark. All the rest is later replacement.

Omega discontinued tritium in 1998 (or late 90's). So dials with T SWISS MADE T can be from a date as late as that.

The step was was changed in the earlier '70s but the precise change over isn't known for sure, as far as I can gather. In any case , the caseback year stamp and serial number are very rough indications of manufacturing date.

Were you asking if there any genuine vintage dials both with applied logos and no T markings like this one?
