    Hello,

Two times I bought a 48xxxxxx Speedmaster and two times they have a not Omega signed blueish glass.

    Coincidence? Or original factory specs?

    With regards, Roel

I would guess if there's no logo then it's not omega

My all original 2 tone italy special 48M from 1988 does not have logo on the hesalite.
Seems to be common these years.

Around 1988 to 1991 (not sure of the exact years but late 80's early 90's) they didn't have the Omega logo. I had my 1989 speedy plexi changed because I thought it was an aftermaket replacement and found this out later. I just checked my 1990 Speedy and that doesn't have the logo either and that watch is untouched NOS.

No service marks. And a OEM glass costs €55,- so I don't believe the aftermarket story.

Both my 345.0809 circa 1988 and 145.0022 circa 1986 does not have the Omega logo and both are still original.

MWO states "that it appears moreover that during a part of the 1980's, the original glasses were deprived of the Omega seals, notably on references ST345.0808 with display backs and ST345.0809 Speedymoon". It goes on to say: "It also seems to include the reference St145.0022 of the same period".

Sorry to side track, recently I bought a 145.012-67 off the Bay and realised the glass doesn't have the logo as well. Have a check with seller and claimed the watch recently been serviced and passed water proofing test. Should I be concern, leave it or change to original glass? Many thanks.
