    An older co worker came up and complimented my latest Omega purchase, his exact words were " Is that a 30 or 33?" in referring to the size of my 1960's Speedmaster 600's dial maybe...I googled and I am not satisfied..Can you help me understand this phrasing?

    I am not sure it must refer to the size of the watch dial. You have a Seamaster 600 so it would not be confused it with Seamaster 30.
